Batsball is a fast-paced bat-and-ball sport designed for constant action and equal participation. Two teams compete by batting, pitching, catching, and scoring points through multiple dynamic plays.

Score more points than the opposing team.

Teams can score in several exciting ways, keeping the game unpredictable and engaging.

  • The Batter’s Mission

The batter must:

  • Protect the yellow pin
  • Hit the pitched ball
  • Look for scoring opportunities

Ways the batter can score:

  • Hit the ball through the football goalpost — 12 points
  • Hit and safely reach the green base — 6 points
  • If the pitcher misses the goal while pitching — 2 points

Quick decisions and good timing are key.

  • The Pitcher’s Mission

The pitcher’s job is to challenge the batter and create defensive scoring opportunities.

Ways the pitcher can score:


  • Knock down the yellow pin — 12 points
  • Batter hits the ball outside the catcher zone — 2 points

Accuracy and strategy are essential.

  • The Catcher’s Role

The catcher is always in the action and can help the team score.
Catcher scoring opportunities:

  • Catch the ball in the air — 6 points
  • Block the ball before it enters the catcher zone — 4 points
  • No Tie Rule (Unique to Batsball)

Before the game starts, captains flip the flat bat 
(red or blue).

  • The winner earns 1 point
  • The winner chooses to bat or pitch first

Because most Batsball scores are even numbers, this point can decide the winner if the game ends tied.

There are no ties in Batsball.
