Marcos Soares is the founder and creator of Batsball, a modern bat-and-ball sport developed to make the game more inclusive, active, and accessible for players of all ages and skill levels.
Based in Delray Beach, Florida, Marcos began developing Batsball in 2019 with a clear vision: to create a sport that removes common barriers found in traditional games while preserving the excitement and competitive spirit that make bat-and-ball sports so beloved around the world.
Working largely independently, he dedicated years to studying game mechanics, testing rules, and introducing Batsball to local communities. His focus has always been on building a structured yet easy-to-learn game that encourages equal participation and keeps players constantly involved in the action.
Today, Marcos continues to lead the growth of Batsball from South Florida, organizing local games, expanding community awareness, and laying the foundation for the sport’s future development.
His vision is simple: create a game where everyone has a real opportunity to play, compete, and belong.
